Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park, near Arusha city, is known for its black and white colobus monkeys and views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. The park features diverse landscapes, including the Meru Crater, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momella Lakes. Wildlife commonly seen includes giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, various monkeys, and flamingos. Leopards and elephants are present but less frequently spotted. Enjoy lunch at a picnic site with views of Ngurdoto Crater. In the evening, return to Arusha town for overnight stay.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its large elephant population and iconic baobab trees. The Tarangire River attracts a variety of wildlife, including wildebeest, elephants, gazelles, zebras, hartebeest, buffalo, and predators like lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. In the evening, proceed to your chosen accommodation.

Day 3: Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife (over 400 species), including large flocks of flamingos. Other wildlife includes buffalo, hippo, elephant, giraffe, and impala. Enjoy a picnic lunch within the park. In the evening, head to your accommodation.

Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey to Serengeti National Park, crossing the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at the crater viewpoint for scenic views. Optionally, visit a Maasai Boma for a cultural experience. Stop at Olduvai Gorge, a significant paleoanthropological site. The Serengeti is known for its abundant wildlife, including the “Big Five” (elephant, buffalo, rhino, lion, and leopard). Enjoy lunch at the Serengeti gate picnic site and then proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Day 5: Central Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti, following the Great Migration trails (seasonal). The Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, home to millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, attracting numerous predators. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a kopje (rock outcrop). Return to your accommodation in the evening.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro and witness the unique ecosystem where Maasai communities and wildlife coexist. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive (with picnic lunch). The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for a high concentration of animals. It is one of the few places where black rhinos can be seen. Expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and various bird species. In the late evening, ascend from the crater and drive to Arusha town.

Day 7: Departure (Arusha)
Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to visit a Maasai market for souvenirs or enjoy a short city tour before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure.
